Low Light Fluorescence
The fingerprint in this illustration has been left in household soap on the front cover of a magazine. The even illumination from the crime-lite 4 x 4 and the sensitivity of the Fuji CCD sensor has resulted in clear detailed image capture.
The surface of the magazine contains very tiny dots, if you look carefully at the enlarge section A of the enhanced image you can see the very fine series of dots.
In the the duplicate section (B) the tiny dots have been removed using FFT manual pattern removal in the DCS4 software.
